We had a baby moose hang out on our front porch in Park City, Utah, one winter. Cleaning up our yard in the Spring was a drag!! Moose are really unpredictable and really strong! They walk down the middle of my parents' street in Red Lodge, Montana.
I'm a happily remarried mother of two living in Danville, California. I'm an Earth Monkey born on the Aries/Taurus cusp. My husband is a Libra Snake, my son is a Libra Tiger, and my daughter is a Gemini Golden Dragon. We share our home with a chinchilla named Qi and two rats, Melody and Chakra.
I view school as part of the path that I hope will lead to a healthy life that includes meaningful and sustaining work and that enhances my relationships with friends and family. The path is not well-paved for me and is a departure from my own expectations of the direction my life would take.
I spend little time dwelling on my past, which is filled mostly with long work hours as a civil litigation attorney arguing about issues that mattered to my clients, but not to me.
The natural beauty of our world uplifts me, and the diversity of its inhabitants intrigues me. I appreciate the absurd and unexpected, and include myself in both categories. My primary interest in life is learning: travel, reading, and listening to children are my favorite tools.
